Refund & Cancellation Policy

Cancellation

You may cancel your DataVibe subscription at any time. To cancel:

  • Log into your dashboard and navigate to Settings → Billing → Cancel subscription, or
  • Use our contact form with your account email and we will process it within one business day.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain full access to your plan until that date. No further charges are made after cancellation.

Monthly subscriptions

Monthly subscriptions are non-refundable once the billing period has started. If you cancel mid-month, your access continues through the end of the period you have already paid for.

Annual subscriptions

Annual subscriptions canceled within 7 days of the initial purchase date are eligible for a full refund, no questions asked.

After the 7-day window, annual subscriptions are non-refundable for the remainder of the annual term. If you cancel an annual plan after 7 days, your access continues through the end of the 12-month period already paid.

Usage-based charges

Usage-based charges reflect metered API consumption during a closed billing period. These charges are non-refundable once the metering period has ended, as they represent actual platform resources consumed.

If you believe a usage charge is the result of a platform error (e.g. a bug causing erroneous request counts), contact us within 30 days and we will investigate. If an error is confirmed, we will issue a credit or refund for the affected amount.

Billing errors and disputes

If you believe any charge is incorrect, submit it through our contact form within 30 days of the charge. Include your account email, the charge amount, and a brief description of the issue. We will respond within 5 business days and resolve confirmed errors within 10 business days.

Initiating a chargeback with your bank before contacting us may result in temporary account suspension while the dispute is under investigation. We encourage resolving billing issues directly — we have a 100% response policy on billing disputes.

Plan downgrades

Downgrading your plan does not generate a refund for the difference in the current period. The lower rate takes effect at the start of your next billing cycle.

Free trials

If a free trial is offered, no charge is made during the trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your payment method is charged for the plan you selected at signup. Trial extensions are not available, but you may cancel before the trial ends with no charge.

Promotional pricing

Promotional or discounted pricing applies only to the billing cycles specified at the time of the promotion. After the promotional period ends, standard pricing resumes. Promotions cannot be combined unless explicitly stated.

How to request a refund

Use the contact form with subject line "Refund request" and include:

  • Your account email address
  • The charge date and amount
  • Reason for the refund request

Approved refunds are credited to the original payment method within 5–10 business days depending on your card issuer.
